At one of the city’s most iconic pintxo bars, heritage meets bold innovation. The menu fuses classic flavors with modern twists, capturing the essence of Basque cuisine. Nearby, historic streets invite exploration. A century-old, family-run wine shop offers a taste of tradition. Its shelves are filled with Rioja and Ribera del Duero wines, but we’ll focus on Patxaran, a beloved Basque liqueur, paired with a delicate pastry. We then dive into bold flavors with a modern spin on the Basque corn tortilla, made with rich local ingredients and perfectly paired with red wine. Hidden in the heart of the city, we’ll visit a cherished women-run bar known for its warm atmosphere and high-quality seasonal dishes—a true local gem. Our journey ends sweetly at San Sebastián’s first “bean-to-bar” chocolate shop, where Basque craftsmanship meets bold Mexican cacao.
